About the Role:
We’re hiring one dedicated in-person teacher's assistant to provide Regents Prep support in Biology and Living Environment at Cyber Arts Studio Academy. In this role, you will work closely with teachers to co-plan and deliver targeted instruction in these subjects, helping students prepare for their Biology and Living Environment Regents exams. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with teachers and school leaders to deliver targeted, culturally responsive Regents Prep instruction in Biology and Living Environment.
  • Provide push-in classroom support, assisting teachers during lessons and working with small groups of students.
  • Adapt instructional strategies to meet the needs of students with varying English proficiency levels.
  • Track student progress and provide feedback to support academic growth.
  • Co-plan lessons and reinforce key concepts essential for Regents exam success.

Schedule:

  • Days: Tuesday – Thursday
  • Time: 11:35 AM – 2:35 PM
  • Duration: March 25, 2025 – May 28, 2025 (excluding holidays and school conferences)
  • Key Dates Off:
    • March 31: Eid al-Fitr
    • April 14–18: Spring Recess
    • May 26: Memorial Day

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: Prior experience tutoring or teaching high school-level Biology and Living Environment, particularly Regents preparation.
  • Subject Proficiency: Strong understanding of high school Biology and Living Environment concepts, including Regents-level material.
  • Team Player: A collaborative spirit and a desire to work closely with teachers and students.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to engage effectively with diverse learners.
  • Passion: A commitment to educational equity and social justice for minority and low-income students.
  • Availability: Must be able to work the specified schedule consistently.
